Fun Things You Otter Do In New Orleans!

 

While in New Orleans for the Otter Keeper Workshop, make sure to make time to enjoy all that the city has to offer! Whether it is world renowned cuisine, a local dive bar that serves as a cultural hub, the neon lights on Bourbon Street, night life and live music, or discovering the wonders of nature right in our backyard the city is waiting for you to explore! Here is a list of places outside of the French Quarter to check out while visiting!

 

Also, just remember in New Orleans everyone is willing to share the name of their favorite places so don’t be shy and feel free to ask one of our locals where you should go!

**The French Quarter can be accessed via the St. Charles Streetcar line if taken all the way down to Canal St. where options for food, drinks, and entertainment once in the Quarter become endless!

There are many museums in New Orleans that cover a variety of subjects, but here is a short list to get you started!

If you are looking to take a walk and enjoy the scenery check out one of our many parks!

If you want a little more wilderness and swamps you can travel out to Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve, Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, Bayou Sauvage, or the Woodlands Conservancy.
